(Horrid little things)

You got that right. My phone is just loaded with programs that I have no control over. none can be uninstalled, most cannot even be "disabled". Google.sure pulled one over on a lot of people with Android. Bloated piece of s**t.  It works, though.

btw, using original browser again. The others I tried had this peculiarity that not all panels in this forum would "zoom in" the same.
On the board hime page, only the left side would zoom, while the right side stayed minimum size. But only sporadically, I got tired of that and swithed browser back to original one. Havent really noticed the phantom zedd151 around lately.

If you find solution to browse with android device,I am also interested
Text is sometimes big and suddenly in the next post it's small
Maybe research if some kinda setting /tool for people. With bad eyesight could keep all text big/same size?

Would be nice with lynx/lynx setting in a android,so it doesn't. Annoy me bandwidth getting wasted with video commercial on some sites use up most monthly bandwidth

actually I wonder how forum software handles logging in from several computers in local LAN,but same IP on internet
for example you work on one computer and logs in and switch to a different computer to test code on different hardware/OS and logs in from same LAN and its a bug in forum software that prints two copies of same user, also maybe you login on your computer that is server and Another computer, maybe Apache(alot of patches), have too few patches  :P

He just wants everyone to know he's on top of things here and really makes his presence be known.

On the other hand he could probably be around and be invisible as well.   8)

Over the last couple of days, while making or modifying posts, or even PM's -- in the middle of  my typing, suddenly the text size changes.

I have seen this most when editing a post, but has happened on original posts as well. Anyone else have this?

I haven't tried resizing any text, but on clicking "Modify Post", I see " [ / s i z e ] "  (without extra spaces there) and have to copy everything to notepad then back into the posting.

Z,

It sounds like some quirk with Opera, what has worked for me for a while now is either Slimjet Portable or Iron Portable and both are free of Google data mapping your browsing.

I am running xp and VitrualBox on Windows 7, I'll stick with IE8 for a bit more. I don't really need the internet from inside VirtualBox.
Ans I'll see what happens.
