Irma

Hi,

Well, I thought that I would be clear of this hurricane.  But its track
has been changing, so it should be annoying me in a couple of days.
Or so, maybe it will go another way, and avoid me.  Maybe it will
even be worse than they are saying right now.  (Ick.)  Oh well, so
it goes..

I remember at least one other Floridian cluttering up the Forum.
Hope you are doing well.  You were in a worse spot IIRC.

Grumble,

Steve N.

Steve,

Don't know which state you are in but if there is any chance of it hitting you I would be inclines to batten everything down, don't leave anything loose outside and at the worst, find a safe place like a cellar or similar. Good luck with it.

I have been to Florida ONCE,as far as I could tell the whole state is nothing more than a giant sandbar. Not a criticism, just how it impressed me.

Hi Steve,

I am in Florida, as implied.  Away at the west end, in the panhandle.
Later today I "should" see tropical storm winds and rain.  Cellar?  Not
here.  So, my comment about annoying.

@anunitu; it depends where you were.  Nice beaches and pine forests
around here.  (Sorta, oaks in my yard.)  The whole state is rather flat
though.  A notable lack of mountains?

Regards,

Steve N.
