Hi I'm new
« on: March 18, 2017, 11:33:08 PM »
Hi Everyone,

I've update the post to add some more information about why I joined as this question was asked in one of the other new member posts.

I've just registered with the Forum. I found this forum listed on the Easy Code MASM web site. I work in IT in the UK and have focused on security for a number of years. But have never got into the very low level detail of how the payloads which are included within tools like metasploit work. As a part of one of the certifications I'm working towards I need a working knowledge of exploits and payload and am going to use MASM to get that.

I've just read the forum rule 3 and to be clear I won't be posting about hacking techniques or anything else included in rule 3. I will only post questions about developing my MASM programming skills.

Regards,

Mark

Hi Mark,

Thanks for bothering to read the rules, some don't. Understanding assembler programming will be very useful to you in the security field as it is often at this level that security issues are best understood. Sad to say we have had so many over the years that have abused the forum that we have to be a bit heavy handed to make sure none of this crap is posted here.
