Title: F15EX The Eagle II - Best of Aviation Series Procurement and General Electric f1

The real kick ass American air superiority fighter.

Stealth technology can already be beaten by any of the major military powers but real kick ass performance is not easy to beat.

From what I understand... the Russian's have more than an answer to anything the US can throw at it.
The Russian 'Dark Horse' .. and there are more advanced aircraft being tested at the mo.

Russia has some very advanced air superiority fighters, the SU27 series and later are very good performers and the later SU57 is shaping up to be another class number but the latest F15 is fast enough and carries a lot of ordinance and is a good contender in this field.

Stealth may make it easier to attack 3rd world countries but any of the 1st world militaries can track stealth aircrafts and they are no match for an air superiority fighter. The ones I don't know enough about are the Swedish ones and the Eurofighter as well as the later Chinese ones, some of which are now very advanced. For a long time they were just warmed over Russian versions.

I've become very wary of US capability 'propaganda', while some points have merit.
The Russians have always underplayed 'their poker hand' and seem to have an 'I do' over an 'I talk' policy.

Starting from the Mig29 series.. the Russians have shown their talent and some incredible and innovative aerodynamic designs that the rest of the world could only wish for.
These birds look like Nature has made them... and they look like they are mean.. but graceful = a deadly combination.
As for the on board technology.. I saw some incredible Russian stuff in the late 80's.. and this hasn't changed from what I can see.

All credit to them.

Something I have found that is funny, the fastest interceptor is the Mig 31 and it literally looks like 2 engines with a few fins and a bubble. I have seen photos of mechanics sitting in the exhaust end of the engines having lunch.

Radio Yerevan was asked: "Is it true that the wings of the SU series are perforated?"
Radio Yerevan answered: "Yes. This innovative design is based on the experience with Russian toilet paper, which tears everywhere except where it's perforated".

I have no doubt that Radio Yerevan is a highly authoritative source of air superiority fighter jets.

Steve,

I have no doubt that Radio Yerevan is a highly authoritative source of air superiority fighter jets.
Of course. Radio Yerevan is of the same quality as the Financial Times (FT). It's well known that the Financial Times, from the The Nihon Keizai Shimbun , is the absolute best source as far as medical issues are concerned.
In particular, their data and statistics on the current mRNA therapy are invaluable. Well, they received money for it, which you can read about on the Gates Foundation website. But that just goes to show that the FT is the
best that money can buy. Whether Radio Yerevan got money from there, I don't know.

This is not an answer from Radio Yerevan.

daydreamer,

Gunther its similar to other medias, movies show steve McQueen in ford mustang and ford pays, ...
that's not the point here. The Financial Times has received a lot of money from the Gates Foundation (Gavi is also behind this). Are you seriously telling me that the FT
has an objectively neutral point of view? By the way: Steve McQueen has been dead for a long time and really has nothing to do with this discussion. Nor did he own
a daily newspaper with a relatively large circulation. Furthermore, he was a really good actor.

Magnus,

I have trouble connecting reference to old video games to a topic about an air superiority fighter. It would be the same problem if the topic was about a Saab air superiority fighter or a Eurofighter or even a Chinese Chengdu J-20.
