Title: The Presidential Debate
Post by: Zen on September 28, 2016, 06:39:06 AM
Did you notice that neither candidate mentioned the one subject that is by far the most meaningful to MASM Assembly Programmers --
EXTRATERRESTRIALS ???

...OK,...OK,...just kidding. Apparently, the First Debate was boring. Everyone thought Clinton basically won, because Trump was so annoying.
The topics of debate were basic concerns of the American public, but nothing creative or innovative was elaborated.

What a contest, a war monger versus a fruitcake. I read in some news today that Obama has little control over the Pentagon who need extra wars to keep increasing their funding.

I could not watch much more than about 20 minutes before I had to switch channels. I am not anti Hillary, but not pro ether. Trump however is very easy to discredit. He reminds me of a High school kid that was a serial liar, that I knew. Think Baron Munchausen. kind of can not tell the truth.

:bgrin: We ALL knew that moron in high school (actually junior high),...:bgrin:

...I think HUTCH described it precisely:
Quote from: HUTCH
...What a contest, a war monger versus a fruitcake,...

You know, this entire Presidential Campaign is just too ridiculously weird for reality,...I think there's a vast, incredibly stupid conspiracy happening,...in which the American citizens, thinking that they are doing their constitutional, democratic duty,...will feel compelled to vote for either the Anti-Christ, or, a fear and loathing, Stepford nightmare,...:dazzled:

...I'm wondering: WHY ISN'T ELON MUSK RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT? (https://www.wired.com/2016/09/elon-musk-colonize-mars/)

I'm voting for Trump, but just the same, I thought Hillary won. Trump whined.

Zen wrote: WHY ISN'T ELON MUSK RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT?

No one would vote for him except himself, his mother and his dog. And I'm not sure about his mother. The media would rip him to shreds, for all the crazy things he's said, and continues to say. Plus, he's too smart to run for president.

But, here's a serious candidate: Alfred E. Neumann. Even at this late date, if he threw his hat into the ring, he'd get 10% of the votes. Mine, for sure.

What is truly funny is,both the green party and the libertarian party got some attention, and BOTH blew their big chance..The green parties candidate by bringing up chemtrails(look it up) and the libs by not knowing about a major battle scarred city under attack even now.

Chemtrails here.

And a quote:

Hi Gunther,

Excuse me, but who is Alfred E. Neuman?

In the U.S.A. there is a satirical publication "Mad Magazine".  One
of its symbols or mascots was Alfred E. Neuman.  Reference "What,
Me Worry?".

My current Mad mascot inspiration is Arthur the avocado tree.
I have four avocado pits sprouted as house plants.

Cheers,

Steve N.

I am a fan and long time supporter of Alfred E. Neuman, a candidate for peace using the MAD notation for Mutually Assured Destruction.

Time to start another war I guess.  I hear funding cuts will result in each state losing a couple Air Force funded SAR airplanes.  I already can't get ahold of an airplane often enough to stay current on my training...

After WWII my father bought a surplus military single-prop plane for 135 pounds, in England. A buddy showed him how to fly it, no license required. Had a lot of fun but after he nearly got himself killed a couple times my mother made him get rid of it. Anyway I'm hoping with the US gov't hard up for cash maybe they'll sell off some of their assets. I'd love to get a slightly used Phantom or F16 ... probably the price has gone up, considering inflation. I'd go as high as $1,350, no problem. The neighbors might not like the noise but if they give me any trouble I could just strafe them.

A Lot of old war planes(mainly jets) became monuments in parks.

The word exists as verb and as noun. You could check this, for example, via Google translator.

Title: Donald Trump nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize
Post by: jj2007 on October 06, 2016, 10:07:55 PM
Donald Trump nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize (http://edition.cnn.com/2016/02/03/politics/donald-trump-nobel-peace-prize/)

Quote
A respected Nobel watcher and director of the Peace Research Institute of Oslo, Harpviken said he was "committed to not reveal the nominator's name," but shared online the language from the letter, which praised Trump for "his vigorous peace through strength ideology, used as a threat weapon of deterrence against radical Islam, ISIS, nuclear Iran and Communist China."
:t

Apropos peace through strength - our British friends at UKIP seem to take that 'ideology' seriously, too:

altercation was at UKIP MEP meeting around 10am - 'punches were exchanged' & Steven Woolfe collapsed (http://www.bbc.com/news/live/uk-politics-37572198)
Quote
There was a "rumbustious argument" over whether Steven Woolfe had been talking to the Tory party.

A verbal conflict arose and he went outside with another MEP.

The other MEP took off his jacket and went outside the room and punches were exchanged.
UKIP's Steven Woolfe 'conscious in hospital after altercation' (http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-37572377) (with another parliamentarian from, well, UKIP :P)
Quote
Steven Woolfe subsequently collapsed and was taken to hospital. His condition is serious.
...
UKIP leadership hopeful Steven Woolfe is conscious in hospital following an altercation at a meeting of party MEPs, UKIP sources have told the BBC.
...
The sources said doctors reported that Mr Woolfe had suffered two seizures and it was believed he had bleeding on the brain.

Now can you imagine the two gentlemen having a "rumbustious" argument among native English-speaking politicians...

Wouldn't surprise me.

I really wish the committee of that price had the same common sense as the committee of the physics one. Which is waiting first for the person to do something they did instead of just giving it for what they said they would do.

He might surprisingly, achieve peace  ;)

All the other presidents have made promises and never lived up to them - actually did the exact opposite, DT is probably no different.
So if he's threatening war, we'll get peace  :t

I'll vote for him

So if he's threatening war, we'll get peace  :t

Let's hope that the peace we get is not the Rest in Peace one.

As for war. Both candidates will do whatever Israel wants them to do. So there is a 90% chance that the USA will try to impose air supremacy over Syria in order to take control of the area.

Except that I trust that Trump will negotiate with Russia enough to avoid WW3. His ego will prevent him from being the president that destroys the USA. I am counting on his ego.

While I do believe we would see one day on Hillary flying in Airforce one saying on TV (as the nukes are flying out from both sides) "what difference does it make now?" If she is elected. She won't mind the USA being burned to the ground as long as she and Bill can make a profit out of it.

Ideally the way to save face on Syria would be to cut the money of ISIS (by bombing the areas they trade and stop the Saudi, the CIA and Mossad from actively financing them), and having an coordinated an attack with Russia to eliminate them. Then claim victory and leave the area. A win win situation for the USA (as it saves face), and for Russia (as it saves face) and Syria. (as they can finally stop the macabre stupidity going on there).

Of course that would postpone the plans for a greater Israel. So they will not be too happy about it. We will more than likely get financial terrorism (as they do control the Federal Reserve) and we might even get a nuke explode somewhere in the USA (either Miami or New York) and blamed to the Russians. After all there are 2 missing nukes that everyone seem to forget about. So we might still get WW3.

LOL.
Cannot blame a man for supporting the religion of her daughter husband. Plus, lets face it, you get a lot more business with Jews than with Christians or Muslims.

But, I am counting on his ego and not his integrity to do what is right. He would not want his presidency to be the one known for the destruction of the USA.

BTW: We will start a recession either at the end of this year or the start of the next one. No mater who wins, things will go worse and whoever gets selected will get blamed for it. Nothing to do with politics, but more of the market cycles. But average Joe and Jane (or Mustafah and Almira, depending if Trump or Hillary get elected) will not see it that way.

Now that trump is president, we will live in interesting times.

Well at least I do not need the fallout shelter now that Putin has announced their intention of a better USA/Russia relation.

The first thing he did was to put one of the Saudi princes on its place on twitter :)

"Dopey Prince wants to control our U.S. politicians with daddy's money. Can't do it when I get elected."

So far so good, prevented WW3 by just being elected and placed a Saudi prince on its place. And he has not yet take the White House.

I fully expect him to say
"Mr. Obama, you are fired."
The day he assumes the presidency.

Trump has in his vain way, swatted a nest of wasps. The mini boomers will if it becomes necessary take their future in their own hands and as the song "5 to 1" by the doors says "the old get older, and the young get stronger.,may take a week or it may take longer"

In a funny way,Trump might just be the spark that fuels a completely new revolution that will sweep the old order and him into the dustbin of history.

Ja.. I think the racist thing is the current trend in the media, which we know, is biased against DT.
The bad thing the media have inadvertently exposed.. is that this racist thing has developed while the Crats were in the driving seat.

There are quiet a few other media outlets that give a fairly good breakdown of what this racial thing is all about, and how it's been 'twisted'/sensationalised by the media. There's no denying that there are racial confrontations (a world wide thing), but are these real or orchestrated for media purposes.

DT has changed his tune somewhat, and I'm sure (One can only hope) will treat all legal US citizens according to their laws.
Everyone else must apply for immigration.. as it's always been, and illegals sent back from where they came.

From what I can gather is that a large percentage of legal non-white, Hispanic.. etc voted for Trump. They probably know something we don't and this wouldn't have happened if they feared him that bad.
