I think he should be thrown in jail for the rest of his life for attempted mass murder. Holding services while the coronavirus is around is a no-no, especially since the average age of church goers is pretty high.

Funny part is the old timers would be the ones who supported him for doing so. If you ever saw an old movie called Elmer Gantry modelled off the 1920s holy roller Billy Sunday, you will get a feel for it. There is a bit of original footage of Billy Sunday floating around and it was an art form complete with the smell of sulphur wafting up from the church floor boards and the fear of burning hell.
The best of American "old time religion" was black gospel and just about every famous black vocalist started singing black gospel. Not long ago the world lost Aretha Franklin, one of the truly excellent gospel singers.
