In OZ we have had pigs beat the sh*t out of old ladies, arrest pregnant women for their Facebook posts and there is the example from New York where a pig bashed an old man to the ground and left him with serious injuries.
I come from an era when Policemen were your friend, you went to school with their kids (who were angels like we were) and your parent knew them. Now we have a police force that sh*ts on whoever it can and rips them off for money.

There were and are no weapons worn by the protesters. The protests are peaceful.

On the other hand, the emergency act was imposed without permission of the parliament. The House of Commons got closed.
