Funny enough Magnus, with my family name which hails from west Scotland is an archaic form "Hutch's" "Son" which is related to a number of Nordic names, Hansen, Johansen, Olsen, Larsen, Andersen and so on. Far to early to track it as its about 1000 years ago that the Vikings moved into those areas but it occurred in the era of a Kingdom called Dal Riata that spanned across northern Ireland and the west of Scotland.
I started life as a tall blonde and for years copped a mountain of chyte for looking like a Nazi. One funny story was a small company that I used to buy bits from for my business and this nice Jewish lady, Rachel Fagan was the rep that used to come occasionally. Giving me a suspicious look, she asked me where I came from so I explained to her that my dad spent ww2 fighting the Japanese in New Guinea and the Solomon Islands.
I went to school with Jewish kids so I was used to the type of question.
