Certainly not going to hit the shelves of big box stores any time soon. Sounds more like a custom build for very heavy number crunching, encryption/decryption, etc., or perhaps video rendering. Sounds like something that NASA or NSA would need. A bit much for most users.
Funny thing is, that someone, somewhere would still complain that they still need more memory than that. And a ginormous amount of hard drive space to go along with it.
Edit to add... quantum computing could be another application that needs that much??? Ultra fast DNA sequencing? Ok, now I'm going off the rails.
