Some valid points there. Let's put some things into perspective:
1. Yes, the vaccines were certainly rushed into production. This was due mostly to valid concerns about the pandemic getting out of control, but also partly due to political pressures, let's not kid ourselves. That doesn't in itself mean that the vaccines are totally untested and dangerous, but it is cause for concern.
2. The idea that the pandemic was intentionally created as a means of global population control or whatever is completely ludicrous, without basis in reality, and ought to be challenged wherever it comes up. This was not a "plandemic". I find the notion that the Chinese created COVID, for whatever reason, and intentionally released it onto their own population to be especially despicable and insane. So please, let's don't go there.
3. At the same time, the Chinese, as well as us (the U.S.) may well bear responsibility for COVID. Despite the claims to the contrary, it's entirely possible that the virus was released from the Wuhan virology lab through an accidental release, not intentionally; it's happened before. And there are serious questions about what the U.S. was doing in cooperation with Wuhan. These questions ought to be answered, but given the obstinate refusal of the Chinese to play ball here, probably never will be.
4. The pharmaceutical companies did profit enormously from this (and the latest news I saw today is that Moderna is planning on jacking up its price for a vaccine dose to $USD130). However, that was really a matter of necessity, given the gravity of the situation, and the fact that nobody else could have produced vaccines in sufficient quantity soon enough. That's just a reality of the capitalist world we live in. So far, I haven't seen any credible evidence that the pharma cos. cut corners on the way to delivering vaccines, though they well may have made other mistakes we don't know about.
5. The hysteria among the anti-vaxxers, so far as I can tell, is mainly over the "genetic engineering" aspect of the mRNA vaccine. Since there is so much ignorance about how this stuff actually works, it's easy to scare people: "Oooooh, it changes your DNA! It reprograms your cells! It transmits marching orders from Bill Gates and Klaus Fuchs!" This technology is not new; it's just that it's never been this widely applied before. I will say that I am not a big fan of genetic engineering myself; I'd be in favor of a total ban, world-wide, on GMOs, for example, though again, that Pandora's box has already been opened and can never be shut. But again, the evidence--the credible evidence, not the hysterical claims from critics who don't know shit about science and medicine, shows that they're generally safe. Generally safe. Any treatment that's as widely applied as COVID vaccines can have side effects, and effects that aren't unknown until well after they're administered, but so far the claims of damage to heart tissue, for example, seem to be extremely overblown. These things should be monitored, of course, and they are being tracked by agencies like the FDA and CDC. Hopefully they're doing all the due diligence they're supposed to be doing.
