Good news. The image under the first post of this thread is now visible again and should be visible all over the world. Imageshack had some technical difficulties.

Hi Gunther,

It is not visible here.  All I see is an inactive "Click and discover
Imageshack" text and picture (of a frog silhouette?).  Florida, USA.

Regards,

Steve

Steve,

It is still visible to me, something else must be blocking it.

...For all you non-physicists,...I found an interesting introduction into GUNTHER's world,...
What are those CERN physicists up to ?, GOOGLE search

...It makes you wonder, though,...with all the talk of quarks, leptons, bosons, gluons, muons, kaons, and, yes, even, hadrons,...just what practical applications in real life can we expect to see from the CERN physicists ?
If I even understood the Standard Model (and it's implications),...could I hope to impress that hot babe at the office Christmas Party with a sensitive and witty monologue ???
Can we create a fuel for my Red Ferrari out of, say, a quark/muon mixture that would send me blazing down the freeway at near relativistic speeds, out distancing the cops by lightyears ???

Hi Dave, Gunther,

Okay, it comes up in a different browser.  So, my mistake.
Thanks for the heads up, and sorry for any inconvenience.

My kid should have visited already under the Uni program, but there was a mess up in the arrangements  ::)
Most likely they'll visit sometime this year.
