Yes, works fine. I even decided for advertising purposes make it on my libraries - and,  if somebody wants to test the result, could download it from here  :t

Yea, heil to the rich!
A typical spoiled-prat-born-rich-with-an-attitude kind of guy.

Well, you know the type: slightly right-wing, a picture of "Maggie" beside the king hanging in the toilet, a fetish for uniforms, constantly paranoid of the working middle-class socialistic union men who's only purpose in life is to steal their money, applaud poverty and individual barging rights because it gives them endless access to cheap labour, the pipe dream of removing the government and privatise everything.

There is however a major fault in this logic since the only way to create demand in the economy is to have a rich middle-class which are the supposed "customers" for the product produced by the "cheap labour", but if Volk can't afford to by the Wagon you may as well close down the factory.

The ideal society for this people are based on greed and ignorance, and work more or less as a gypsy camp. But even the gypsy-kings depends on the evil-working-middle-class-socialistic-union-men-society for their income, so they send their "cheap labour" there to do their bidding.

You may argue that it was Reagan and Thatcher who crush the union in the west, but it was the labour movement itself who continued the final destruction of it by swallowing the blue pill. This was fronted by people like Tony Blair and Gerhard Schröder. They demanded the freeze of wages to create "cheap labour", and thereby removing the "customers" which was the base of the western worlds wealth. The argument used for this was to stabilize the almighty currency.

One of the countries who didn't swallow this crap was Norway since the union here demanded their fair share of the profit. As a result of this the wages increased synchronous with the profit and is now around 70% higher than the average in EU, and in some cases a few hundred percent higher than in the US. Some may argue that it is the oil-industry which finance this, but the fact is that income from this can not be used inside the country since that will generate mass inflation.

Here is an image which compare wages to profit:

This is the real reason for the dept problems of the nations. The income to the state comes from these wages which is frozen, and the cost of running the state increases during this time, and this is financed by borrowing.

This will then be the result of this "right-wing" philosophy: it is capable of generating huge profits by selling cheap products to rich people, but at the same time convert these "rich people" to "cheap labour".

The good thing about a dysfunctional, uneducated, slave-driven society is the fact that it has the potential to produce good music. The bad thing about it is, well, the pile of shit you end up living in.

The solution to this problem, Japheth, will then be to move to Norway. We have one of the best health-care system on the planet. The cost of this is less then 10% of the health-care system in the US, and the service here is even better. However, the people who won the election here have the same attitude as your "friend", so they are going to privatise everything now. Salaries are going to be cut down to the bear minimum, and they are of course going to crush the evil union and spend a shit load of oil money to encourage a huge inflation.

This means that the serfs (person forced by a landowner to work on the land in a feudal system, or worker treated harshly or like a slave) will be fully implemented into serf-dom (social and economic system under which land was cultivated by serfs).

So now you know "The Road to Serfdom"

I wonder if anyone can argue according to its ideas or should only do so if it is within the politically correct, regardless of it is correct or not. It is usual to divide the world into good and evil and think that some respond to certain political ideas and others to the contrary. One rich and other poor , some bad, and some good ...

At this point of global crisis would be interesting to stop for a bit and think if only our ideas are correct or should at least allow a debate.

Probably not Mr. Hayek neither Mr. Keynes are 100 % accurate neither 100 % misguided. But using a Keynes' base for governments spend huge amounts of money trying to "stimulate" the economy, when what they really do is throw money away in exchange for winning some months time, I find most than irregular. Meanwhile, the super- wealthy gentlemen who buy sovereign debt are getting richer while others are becoming more indebted, and therefore poorer... and demanding that markets keep on buying our debt and thereby making us poorer .

I do not know the details for all countries, but it seems none of them have achieved bridle the deficit. And in return keep on issuing debt or print more money hoping to avoid inflation. If we look back, and compare our situation with which we had 5/6 years ago I think we would have vertigo.

Make love, not war... ;)

I find the summers in Germany too hot for my taste, usually.

Yes Gunther, and he does.

He is also a European economist, and he dedicate his work to an economic theory which is in my view bad for the European economy, and one would for this reason try to wind him up a bit

Think the right are right about this: the government should not be given the power to "control" the economy at all. This should be a struggle between the "serfs" and the "landowners", and neither of them should be in charge. If the serfs are in charge we get communism and that's no good for the economy. If the landowner wins we get slavery, and as mention above, that is not good for the economy either. The foundation with regards to financial growth is competition, which in this case is about how to share the loot (the profit). If they are equally powerful the curve in the picture will be synchronized, and that's good for the economy. The situation now is that the union is broken.

With regards to the "political theories" they will be limited to "fix" or "avoid" financial crisis. They are all political construct for short term political gain.

Don't think I want to live in an oven.

We used to have a viable alternative to "serfdom" here in OZ, years ago if a pile of kids pooled their dole payments they could rent a house near a good surfing beach and enter into "sUrfdom". They got the suntan and lifestyle for free. Sad to say (for them) the government wised up on the deal and put an end to it.  :P
