Sir Clive Sinclair's ZX Spectrum revolutionUntil the late 90's, I resisted to use Windows, and was the only one in the office who had an absolutely silent PC - an Atari ST with a ramdisk only. Actually, I forgot the exact procedure how I backed up my files, but I never had a data loss accident. And the ST was so much ahead of the other dinosaurs, about three times as fast as the 386... the only problem was Mr Tramiel's inclination to lean back, count money and do absolutely nothing to ensure his baby's future 8)
