You have to know the facts before you can distort them.

remembering back to BBS days, i do think a certain amount of technology was developed to improve porn
interlaced GIF's come to mind - but JPEG's probably, too
not to mention the dozens of video formats
even thought they may not have been developed strictly to see nakie ladies, it helped motivate them

kind of like medical advances from military R&D   :eusa_clap:

Not only did porn drive these various formats, it drove the adoption of the internet itself and all the technologies that entails.

Magnus,

Thats easy, I don't live in Sweden. We are reasonably well endowed with tall good looking blondes here in OZ though. Now the only problem is they know I am only interested in their maiden aunts.  :P

RE : P0rn, I have actually seen a use for it. Years ago some little sh*t from New Jersey hacked an early version of the MASM forum but he also hack at least dozens of the same forum software. Shortly after one of the disaffected forum operators slathered his own forum with the ugliest gay p0rn you have ever seen and he hit it so hard that the little sh*t had to take his forum down. I remember clocking onto his forum when everyone was hassling him and saw the mountain of gay p0rn that had been posted on it, I nearly died laughing.  :P
