US weather is hot hot hot!

I am curious what it is doing around the rest of the world. I have heard that the UK is experiencing one of the wettest summers ever. I knew because of the very mild winter we had here in the northeast that it was going to be a brutally hot summer and it has indeed been so. It’s awful! Generally summers are pleasant here in the northeast and much of ones free time can be spent outdoors but not this year. Drought is another growing problem we are experiencing and it will certainly effect food prices come fall.

that's also true for Western Europe. We've one day a but sunshine, but the next day rain and often thunder. Not the ideal weather for vacation. But the situation in the US is ugly; I've seen some reports via TV.

I suppose that is one way of saying it... There are large parts that have been flooded multiple times so far this year.

we have had a hot summer, as always
the last few days - a little rain to cool things off - very nice
it raises the humidity - but, the other day, the temp actually dropped into the 80's   :t

it gives the weatherman something to keep him on his toes
probably the easiest job in the world - meterologist in Arizona
all you have to do is make a loop tape of "it's going to be hot and sunny"
and another one - "it's going to be sunny and hot"
then, you can sit at your desk for 95% of the year and play computer games   :P
