A hole bunch of Windows security updates have a prerequisite called 2919355.
If you look at "More Information", it would download dozens of updates that
I know nothing about.
Has anyone else been through this that is more knowledgeable than I?

Here I asked about this update .  I installed it without problem .

I remember there was MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING on this update  - lots of articles on PC / IT related sites.

For more info read Knowledge Base article :

Hi shankle,

That's an important update. The open license version of the Server 2012 R2 iso image contains that hotfix. If I remember well, Wsusoffline id downloading KB2919355.

Thanks guys for responding.
Excuse my ignorance but what does this update have to do with Windows 7?
It seems from what I see that it is for Windows 8.

EVERYTHING I have read about this update refers to Windows 8. I am afraid to put it on my
computer. I am running Windows 7 pro 64-bit. So one wonders why Windows Update puts
updates that need this update as a prerequisite for a windows 7 computer????
