Now for the holy shit category.

I just received notice from the repair center that the one with the messed up BIOS I had will not be returned to me and that I'll received a balance for that system AND that the 4 others I ordered will not be delivered and as such will also not be invoiced (explains why I've been waiting for so long for them to be delivered).

I also checked Mediamarkts website, which I know had this device in inventory (I know because I used their brick and mortar store to get a hands on look at the device) and they have also pulled the Archos Cesium 140 from their shelves.

It is starting to seem like the idiotic implementation of the BIOS on this device is causing major issue's resulting in a massive recall, "do not sell" and "do not repair" order.

Hi Enlightnd
@mabdelouahab do you have images of the other parts of the Archos 140 Cesium? For the mainboard, another image where the chip labels are better visible?

Hello there MASM community, i'm sorry to revive an old thread, but i trash picked an Archos 140 Cesium, here is the motherboard:

As you can see a few components are missing such as the AXP288, and few others caps and stuff,

i was wondering if you guys could help me figuring which are the values and types of the missing compoents ^^
