OK I hope I am not tredding on several toes. But I have released/sold 5 commercial applications on 64 bit windows assembler to 4 pretty high profile US/EU Semiconductor companies mostly involved in massive data applications. Now I am worried about legal issues. So far they have been ML64-ish, wee bit modified, recently looking at HJWASM but not released anything yet on HJWASM. What is the situation with commercial apps on ML64, HJWASM etc - totallay confused. I have already modified HJWASM but still not sure. Arrgghh wish it was BBC basic .......
Och. It wisnae that hard, wis it?

I moved this topic as it was not specific to ML64 but to 64 bit assembler in general. You will need to do some checking with the licence for each assembler but I doubt it is problematic. From memory recent releases of Microsoft binaries can be used for any Windows development. JWASM is effectively abandonware and while it is subject to a Watcom licence, that is mainly related to the source code as are the two forks HJWASM and Nidud's version.
