The Presidential Debate
« on: September 28, 2016, 06:39:06 AM »
Did you notice that neither candidate mentioned the one subject that is by far the most meaningful to MASM Assembly Programmers --
EXTRATERRESTRIALS ???

...OK,...OK,...just kidding. Apparently, the First Debate was boring. Everyone thought Clinton basically won, because Trump was so annoying.
The topics of debate were basic concerns of the American public, but nothing creative or innovative was elaborated.

What a contest, a war monger versus a fruitcake. I read in some news today that Obama has little control over the Pentagon who need extra wars to keep increasing their funding.

I could not watch much more than about 20 minutes before I had to switch channels. I am not anti Hillary, but not pro ether. Trump however is very easy to discredit. He reminds me of a High school kid that was a serial liar, that I knew. Think Baron Munchausen. kind of can not tell the truth.

:bgrin: We ALL knew that moron in high school (actually junior high),...:bgrin:
...Thank GOD he didn't have nuclear weapons !!!

...I think HUTCH described it precisely:
Quote from: HUTCH

You know, this entire Presidential Campaign is just too ridiculously weird for reality,...I think there's a vast, incredibly stupid conspiracy happening,...in which the American citizens, thinking that they are doing their constitutional, democratic duty,...will feel compelled to vote for either the Anti-Christ, or, a fear and loathing, Stepford nightmare,...:dazzled:

...I'm wondering: WHY ISN'T ELON MUSK RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT?

I'm voting for Trump, but just the same, I thought Hillary won. Trump whined.

Zen wrote: WHY ISN'T ELON MUSK RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT?

No one would vote for him except himself, his mother and his dog. And I'm not sure about his mother. The media would rip him to shreds, for all the crazy things he's said, and continues to say. Plus, he's too smart to run for president.

But, here's a serious candidate: Alfred E. Neumann. Even at this late date, if he threw his hat into the ring, he'd get 10% of the votes. Mine, for sure.

What is truly funny is,both the green party and the libertarian party got some attention, and BOTH blew their big chance..The green parties candidate by bringing up chemtrails(look it up) and the libs by not knowing about a major battle scarred city under attack even now.

Chemtrails here.

This is America, not Uptightville, let the kid run(If George Carlin was still alive he would run) also props to Alfred E.

And a quote:
"In August, 2016 the Federal Election Commission announced its intent to punish future satirical candidates for president for false filings with a federal agency." All I can say is lighten up FEC..

Good idea in principle, but who would run against Clinton then?  ::)

Hi Gunther,

Excuse me, but who is Alfred E. Neuman?

In the U.S.A. there is a satirical publication "Mad Magazine".  One
of its symbols or mascots was Alfred E. Neuman.  Reference "What,
Me Worry?".

My current Mad mascot inspiration is Arthur the avocado tree.
I have four avocado pits sprouted as house plants.

Cheers,

Steve N.

I am a fan and long time supporter of Alfred E. Neuman, a candidate for peace using the MAD notation for Mutually Assured Destruction.

Time to start another war I guess.  I hear funding cuts will result in each state losing a couple Air Force funded SAR airplanes.  I already can't get ahold of an airplane often enough to stay current on my training...

After WWII my father bought a surplus military single-prop plane for 135 pounds, in England. A buddy showed him how to fly it, no license required. Had a lot of fun but after he nearly got himself killed a couple times my mother made him get rid of it. Anyway I'm hoping with the US gov't hard up for cash maybe they'll sell off some of their assets. I'd love to get a slightly used Phantom or F16 ... probably the price has gone up, considering inflation. I'd go as high as $1,350, no problem. The neighbors might not like the noise but if they give me any trouble I could just strafe them.
