I have one of these and had to order another one as the 1st one was
starting to fail. It gets a lot of use. Both connections MUST be Ethernet.
I got it from "justhithebutton". When I ordered the 2nd one I had to
go through Paypal to put a fire under this Company. Finally because of
Paypal they mailed me another one after 3 weeks time. So my question
is, does anyone know of another company that makes one of these switches?

If you are meaning to be able to cut the connection when you are not wanting to be online, then it might be simpler. If you only want a disconnect, check out Comodo and their free internet suite. They also have a pay one I guess it has more features. But the one I use most is the block connection,a software thing. When I am not surfing,I hit the button to disconnect from the ISP.

See attached pic that has been Zipped.

Almost forgot the link.

Might add they also have their version of Chrome called Dragon.

I have found them very useful.

Thanks Anunitu,
Will check it out.

Hi Anunitu.
I got to thinking (bad habit), Eset SS has a firewall.
I use ESET SS and think Comodo might not play nice
together. So when I am online ESET kicks in and when
not the hardware switch solves all problems
What is your opinion of this?

I had never known there was a physical switch you could use,but it should be possible like unplugging the ethernet cable. Not sure about the conflicts between two programs, but I think having only one is best(thinking if you had two sound cards, conflicts would be a thing also) Thinking back to the old days where you had to configure your sound card, these days it is plug and play.

Also I like the idea of being able to be offline without shutting down the system

HI Anunitu,
I have since found out that Amazon has what is called an "Internet cut off switch".
Justhitthebox sells one for about $50. Amazon sell one for less than $20.
Good old American rip off.
