Win10 64 strikes again.
« on: January 05, 2017, 03:13:34 AM »
The old install for the Whistler edition for Win2000 would not install properly in Win10 so after hunting around I found a combination of the H2Viewer and the PlatformSDK 2003 that had all of the later information that was not in the old Winhelp Win32.hlp file. After yet another auto update I clicked on the menu item and it GP faulted. It would start from the ancient Winfile but not even on the desktop or File Explorer.

I tried the compatibility settings but it still crashed from the desktop so I tried the "Run as administrator" which for reasons that don't make sense, worked again. Lucky I am getting faster at fixing Win10 PHUKUPS.
