Two interesting albums featuring Chris Squire in this 2012

I'm sure most of you guys are still remember Yes, one of the famous prog rock bands from the 70's, and of course Mr Squire, its bassist.
Even though I'm not a bassist, I'm always amazed by his melodic and punchy bass lines.

Anyway, now I'm listening to these 2 albums featuring Mr Squire.
The 1st album is Squackett (with Steve Hackett, the famous ex-guitarist of Genesis).
You won't find the typical long, complicated songs ala Yes here. Mostly are melodic. But his famous growling bass is still there.  8)

The 2nd album is The Prog Collective. This is like a sort of ambitious project consisting legends like Squire himself, Rick Wakeman, John Wetton, Annie Haslam, Steve Hillage, etc. Definitely 'heavier' than the previous album.

It's nice to know that the man is still writing good music  :t
