Self modifying and replicating AI - yeaaaaah ! we are all gonna die :t

This is a revolution in the world, no longer an industrial revolution, first of all, a mental one. Peoples consciousness will develop faster, while robots will not be able to have consciousness. Here is a good example of application in artificial intelligence - A Japanese ad agency invented an AI creative director — and ad execs preferred its ad to a human's -

Video which was created by a robot
Video which was created by a human

I dont know how for you, but the version from the robot strongly presses on the psyche, mental health is no longer taken into account, such advertising can be used for military purposes, to influence the mass consciousness, almost like a session with a therapist. I liked the human version more, although the version from the robot forces me to buy. Heres a psychological experiment =) This is a very interesting topic, for this reason I asked in one of the tops about libraries with a simple Artificial Intelligence. After such technologies, a society with the style of cyberpunk is already near

I think the real problem is that Google already have a half arsed version of AI that they use in Youtube and similar but its more "artificial" than "intelligent". Somewhere up a tree of of options to an input they run out of matching answers and make a PHUK of what they end up doing. Its even worse with automated telephone answering services that more and more companies use when you have to ring them for something.

Effectively if something can be learnt by rote, it can be computerised but its subject to a well known rule of logic, the indeterminacy of mathematics where for any finite set of options from a given set of axioms, there will always be questions that cannot be answered from those axioms alone. The usual response is to keep adding more and more axioms but it just makes the same problem bigger.
