Hello experts.

I have downloaded and extracted MASM64 bit editor from http://masm32.com/board/index.php?topic=6556.0

When I started, it is a black screen. Where is the compile option? Where is the run option? Where is Debugger? Where to see memory dump area?

Actually, I want to install MASM 64-bit for my 64-bit machine. I watched saveral youtube videos. But all are with Dosbox or using Visual Studio. And I want MASM without Dosbox and Visual Studio. So someone said me to visit masm32.com. I visited here.

Now help me please.

Thank you.

Shayaan,

If you had read the download link you would have answered your own question. I am not licensed to supply the Microsoft binaries so to use the MASM64 contents, you need to get the version of Visual Studio that contains the binaries you require. Depending on the OS version you are running from Win7 64 to Win10 64, you must get the version of VS that matches your OS version.

hello hutch--,

I hope you have read my question thoroughly since I don't want VS and Dosbox to be installed. Well, I read the moved thread then I will reply further.

Thank you very much.

The trick is to download VS, get all of the binaries you need then get rid of it.

ML64.EXE
LINK.EXE
EDITBIN.EXE
DUMPBIN.EXE
LIB.EXE
CVTRES.EXE
  and
All of the DLLs that support them.

I don't have the distribution rights for these files and the sheer hassle in trying to deal with Microsoft is not worth the effort.

Last week I downloaded Visual Studio Community and found ml64.
