It is an inconvenience to have to look for the runtimes, but after all Windows is by far the friendliest OS in this respect. .DDL Hell is really a Heaven if you remember that with some OS we need to compile everything to run it or download large megabytes of pre-requisites packages.

That's not true, I'm a beginner in this field.
I just recently started learning pixel shaders and setting things up for using them in Direct3d9 in a minimalist way and to execute them without the use of the DirectX wrapper lib.
The examples I showed here are translations of the WebGl examples from Shadertoy.com to hlsl.
Soon I'll release the sources and some tutorials and examples.
