I would be more worried about George Soros than George Orwell.

I'll stop paying taxes and give myself a pay raise, Italian style.
And then enjoy my pension early as the French and Italians, not waiting till I'm 67 years old.
Afterall it's one Europe and I want the same privileges.
And I want all the frozen pay raises and extra paid taxes over the last 12 years back.

Or give me a time travel device, so I can go back to 1980 and I'll never complain again.  :bgrin:

That is the big problem: if we rob people of the possibility of understanding the consequence of spending more than it generates, they will never understand the problem. And if you take money from the people of northern Europe, perhaps more economical, to give it to the south, they will begin to behave like in the south. It is not nonsense.

But do not worry, the southern middle class, we will suffer especially such follies.

That is exactly what I meant.
Why still work hard and pay extra taxes, when our money goes to people that don't work as hard and pay almost no taxes.

Just in the mood, Wolfgang Maier is a German reporter. In the first video he talks about the lateness of officials in Spain. In the second, a report on Germans in Mallorca. Well, it's very funny.

The Netherlands does not tax extensively incoming dividends and royalties. Furthermore, the country provides for other tax-optimization schemes through Dutch shelter companies, also known as mailbox-companies. At present, the country hosts over 12.000 such mailbox companies that channel around EUR 4.000 billion annually.

I'm talking citizen tax.
Big Corporations, have their own global maffia tax rules and go where the cheapest mailbox is available.
