New malt to the collection.
« on: January 31, 2018, 05:02:29 PM »
Found a good malt today, just could not resist.  :P Highland malt, strong flavour, very dry and no peat flavouring like the island malts.

Finally I see the picture... that is the secret of "original" Hutch code!!

I think its a country to country variable, in DE its schnapps, in Russia its vodka, the US its bourbon, Japan has sake, we follow the English and drink pure malt whisky but the bottom line is good assembler has exactly the right amount of alcohol, over do it and your code turns to trash, under do it and the code is very ordinary.  :P

LoL, So shall we talk alcohol thread?
The wife (Draakie from old Forum for those in the know)
is from SA Freestate = old school farm-type... I'am more
of a city boy. Anyhow, double (25ml * 2) brandy and coke is her
mainstay beverage. Her vascular system is diluted with
blood..... the end - write it off to upbringing, its Freestate
cooldrink.  I am more into BEER.. Carling Black Label made
in SA anyone?
Are you pondering what I'm pondering? It's time to take over the world ! - let's use ASSEMBLY...

I like South African King beer, but also prefer whisky lik Steve
South africa is as big as Europé and offers Everything in holiday trip, except ski holidays
Easter its a warm paradise beach thanks to warm Indian Ocean even in your Winter,it has fields of sugar canes, african farms, with dangerous male ostriches that can punsch a hole in a car when its mating season
Cape Town is uphills and downhills reminds me of San Fransisco
false bay, where pirates lure ships
I also read lots of history, impressive gunmen who knew guerilla tactics

@Hutch
with your logic, to code great SIMD code its so much alcohol you read scalar code with "double vision", you see how packed code should do double amount of work and code a packed code solution after seen that

Magnus, I wish I had the time to play with the AVX instruction set, the little I have done performs really well but I still have a mountain of 64 bit API code to write that is like shovelling sewerage to get enough basic things done and cannot get at the fast stuff yet.
