A favour from members with high bandwidth connections.
« on: July 04, 2018, 07:22:17 PM »
Recently I bought a new 4k Sony camera and have been shooting a few test pieces, could I impose on a few folks who have fast connections to see if this looks OK in Youtube.

Runs very smooth and super sharp quality.  :t

Runs smoothly in auto resolution, with very good quality, and some stutters when set to max resolution, i.e. 2160p. My notebook has 1366x768, there is no improvement with higher resolutions.

If I run it on Youtube I can watch it most of the time at 1440, 2160 occasionally but stutters at busy times. The camera is a Sony FDR AX700 and the first 4k camera I have found that is any good at hand held shots. Takes a bit of practice at 30 FPS but I am happy with the results.

At 2160-4k it presents some stops, not very high internet-connection though

works great here, the dog drinks coffee too?
its great for nonaction with highresolution, but if it an action-Movie with fast action 99% of the time, you probably fool people to have it at 4k,because the Eyes and brain is unable to see details in fast action
so are you gonna do some howto make masm64 sdk programs, youtube clips?
are you allowed to put up masm32 "Commercial",how to install masm32 package and make your first "Hello World" message Box?

Magnus,

With video cameras depending on the settings, as you try and pan quickly you get a blurring effect which looks OK if its done quickly, slow panning is technically difficult with the amount of data required for each frame. 60 fps looks a lot better and its straight forward to shoot 1080 or 1440 at 60 fps but the only cameras that shoot 4k at 60 fps are prohibitive in their cost and few can watch it without very fast 4k TVs. I do have an action camera that will shoot 1440 at 60 fps and it looks good but it has a fixed lens like most others so there are limits in what it can do.

I have already tried doing bits for MASM but not everyone can deal with a 1080 video size and when scaled down by Youtube they are close to unwatchable.

I just got an idea, right before I should sleep,so I go up post it before, the idea don't get Forgotten:
First best screencapture program,my brother used to run it along playing American football online, so he could watch and learn from errors he made
Some good video editor that can fade between many small clips, combined with some big readable text that describes each clip
1:start with describing advantage of tiny Exe,speed etc in general, showing qeditor and various assembly tools
2:clips in order of how advanced it is of
Gdidemo clips,console games,gdi game,dx9 clip,dx11 clip,tiny sized pixelshaders
This is just a suggestion, I think youtube compression is probably more suited to graphics and animations
Goodnight
