Move bench grinder to floor

I had neck surgery so I can not drive or lift anything heavy.

I want to move the bench grinder to my floor.

This is what I have so far.

I thought about tying the bungee cord to slow down the rate of descent to the floor.

I am not all that mechanically inclined.

Can you think about anything else?

Can't you ask a neighbour to give you a helping hand?

I live in some apartments. Most folks here are loners.

There are others I can ask, but they are busy.

It's kind of sad to see that.

When I was growing up, my parents knew most of the neighbors on our block.

I am getting the feeling that the surgery did not go as planned.

After 12 days after the surgery, my neck feels like a "knife is in it."

I went to a clinic today, but the shot they gave me did not work.

Andy,

At such a short time after surgery, you really should not be doing strenuous things. Even a couple of weeks after is a bit early. The little bench grinder looks like about a half horsepower and if you were fit it would be an easy lift and place on the floor. If you don't know someone close who could do it for you, leave it as recovery is more important.

Thanks.

I will leave it as is.

My neck feels like a knife is in it.
