My workshop reborn
« on: September 01, 2019, 06:32:36 PM »
I spent some of the last few weeks cleaning up my workshop so I could make things again and have found almost everything I need in it.

First production has been two dollies used for linear travel in photography. One big and one small, next trick is to motorise a track which I have yet to make. Its starting to warm up at last so I can get out and shoot some video.

nice place, you also have some specific aluminium tools and measures to avoid damage aluminium when for example clamp it,there is copper plates inbetween clamper and the aluminium you work on
maybe you can you make a KOSMOS robot in your workshop, fully programmed in MASM64?

Magnus,

This is the third dolly on a test track. It has a medium sized ball head to hold a camera and different ball bearing wheels that were designed for 3d printers. Next trick when a couple of pots turn up is to try and motorise it. I tried it will a couple of audio pots but the current was far too high and they started to burn.

Sorry about the lousy photo but black on black is hard to do well.
