Most recent test running 3 computers in parallel.
« on: September 06, 2020, 08:29:36 PM »
I started with 109 mp4 video clips totalling 7.76 gigabytes. Divided them between 3 directories on one machine, built the individual batch file for each directory then ran in synch the 3 machines on the data. Timing on completion of all 3 target directories was 8 minutes and 7 seconds.

The synch software seems to be working OK, just needs to be civilised so its easier to use. When I get it something like user friendly I will post the 2 apps for anyone else who has a need for synchronising multiple computers for specific tasks.

Hi Hutch,

There are tools like rsync, rclone and FreeFileSync to syncronize directories.
