64 bit version of tEdit
« on: November 21, 2020, 06:36:01 PM »
The PowerBASIC version worked fine in 32 bit but you need to own it as it is commercial software. This is the 64 bit MASM version with its much larger capacity and close to identical appearance. I have added a few bits and pieces, time and date and block selection of upper and lower case which is useful from time to time. The only thing it is missing is space replacement of tabs as there is a nasty bug in the EM_LINEINDEX message that made it unreliable at the beginning and end of the edit data.

I almost had it working correctly but it needs a messy work around and I did not want that in this editor.

Tested on a 500 meg file with no problems, it is genuinely fast and just as cute as the basic version. The reason for the copyright is to prevent code collectors from trying to bundle it with other shovel ware. The source is provided so anyone who uses 64 bit MASM can build or modify it and use parts of it.
