Hail my awesome friends and enemies, 😊
Have been working 3x times harder at lecturing than anticipated
since the start of you know what. Missing you guys and gals more
than I can say. The wife (draakie) just reminded me of what you
guys have meant to me and her over the years. I cannot say thank you
enough to that. Please my heartfelt appreciation. Degrees mean nothing
if you are not passionate or cannot inspire passion in others. I live by
that and mention you (you know whom) in my lectures. Besafe my friends
and be vigilant - the code must go on.

You guys are the best. But you knew that already.
I would not have been me without you.
Suffice it to say, your lessons to me live
on in those I teach everyday. From jj2007 I learnt
humility and rigor, from HSE, Gunther & Vortex I learnt godlike does exist,
from Siekmanski & six_L that optimization is never far away or
the math too difficult (you rock). TouEnMasm is someone I truely
envy for shear determination in doing something completely selfless
that will surely last into the ages. Daydreamer... you know if you are in SA my door and newly re-pimped man-cave is yours (but not permanently).😈

Covid Sux = big time.
Add then new generation kids (19 to 27) wanting
to do degrees in Bsc Application Development or
Engineering equivalent (some very needy). Add then I am lecturing
across all 3 years of such degrees.  Add then commercial private
interest college becoming full fledged private University.
Add then, things I say Yes too, without thought (honours students)
then add 8 to 14 hour lectures per day without end, because
they employed a newbie to schedule such, without knowledge of
actual assessment schedule. Then add other lecturers  (1 so far)
going off sick due to you know what; and me as substitute,.....
Then you might understand my topic instance. Add then I havent
seen my man cave in weeks or ASM Programming for that
matter. Yes I complain too much...

Sounds like you are having a ton of fun there Rudi, the only occupation I know of that has that type of workload is new interns working in a hospital to get their hours up. All bad things come to an end, just make sure you last long enough to get there. Say HI to your better half and remember you can always come back with more creative genius when its all over.
