I know that LEDs last longer and generate next to no heat.
What has been your experience as to their longevity as compared to CFLs ?
How do they do in high humidity environments ?
I was looking at prices for 100 watt, but at $20 per bulb, it seems pretty steep.
[Unless it comes with a good looking babe. :-) ]
They have a 5 year warranty while CFL's usually have a 7 year guarantee.
warantees are fairly meaningless, in many ways
i would expect an LED to work for 20 or 30 years, if the circuit is well designed and built
possibly even longer
I do not know what CFLs, this LEDs but a very good thing.
They are durable, I have written extremely durable.
Beautiful very much. And economically so that for example
a flashlight shines with them for almost a month
continuously without recharging.
According to wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LED_lamp):
LED 30,000 hours
Incandescent 1,000 hours
Compact fluorescents 8,000 hours

I have taken back bulbs that did not last and gotten a refund.
Feit is a very poor brand. A high % fail within 6 months.
