Title: Test 2 of bandwidth of intro video.
Post by: hutch-- on January 23, 2021, 09:43:24 PM
This one runs for just under 2 minutes and has a bitrate of 1.5k which is very low. It runs on my box OK, runs just as well on Youtube and I am hoping with a very low bitrate that it will run OK for folks who don't have access to fast internet.

Sorry for the imposition but I am trying to make stuff more accessible to folks who don't have high speed internet.

No Hutch. That music is against the "high speed" concept  :eusa_boohoo:.

Try with something like this (the music obviously )

(BTW is great video editing because none of these girls is dancing the theme you hear)

I think the kids are good dancers but if we were showing this type of content I doubt that much assembler code would get written. What I need to know is if folks with limited bandwidth could view it without bad delays and if it displayed OK on their computer.

Ok here, no lag, watched in full screen.
Only difference from previous that I perceive is possible an increase of sound volume, left side make a bit of noise in piano.

Thanks to all who helped with the testing, I have put the video in the new "Introduction" at the top of the forum.
