I suppose it is confusing. Raymond Chen's Blog, The Old New Thing (http://blogs.msdn.com/b/oldnewthing/) is well-known among Windows programmers. Mr. Chen explains many of the internal implementation details of the various aspects of Windows APIs that most programmers are unaware of. I love the guy,...he's incredibly knowledgeable and humorous. I often learn things from reading his blog that help me write more reliable code.
