A couple things,"softice-like" and "softice" is not quite the same thing. Misleading title.
That being said, I had not tried it. It may very well perform exactly as softice had, but for 64 bit...

If you go to GitHub, it says that BugChecker  is a kernel mode debugger that is  'softice-like'.

Not really SoftIce....  in that BugChecker is a kernel mode (ring 0) debugger "like" SoftIce, but for 64 bit...

Being version 0.1 (BugChecker on GitHub, that is), does not instill enough confidence in me me to try it.  :thdn:
I'll wait for version 4.xx,  when all the major bugs are hopefully out of BugChecker.  Ironic, yes?
