The crappy OS Windows 8 is just out and I hear talk of another called "BLUE".
The exorbitant prices of the past are supposed to change to Free with a small
charge for updates. If you want to read more about this I found it on the "Wilders
Site". Have no idea if this is true or not. Seems way to soon for another OS.
Well it should be no surprise they're working on the next release, but it doesn't look like this is yet another OS.
Apparently, the plan is to move to incremental yearly (paid for) upgrades, rather than bulk release of a new OS several years later.
So call it Windows 8.1 :P

Seems like they might be going back somewhat to the ways of the Dos era.
Where you could get an update to whatever you had for about $30.
I thought that was fair and was sorry to see it go.
Also OSes asked you if you wanted a certain language. What you select is what
you got and the other 400 were not installed as an example. That also needs to be
reinstated IMHO.
