Title: Big display flickers
Post by: daydreamer on February 26, 2023, 06:46:19 PM
I have walked around shooting videos and photos in my hometown and video of huge clock/temp+ ads on top of local company, only playback video revealed it flickers much
My mind so trained in low fps tv,brain ignores flickering so i can read subtitles works similar when I try read clock/temp on that display?
Hutch and other who like shoot videos seen this too?

Not a simple answer. What video frame rate are you shooting at ?

24 FPS worked OK with big cinema cameras but can look like crap shot with the wrong camera.
30 FPS can look OK if you don't try and pan too fast.
50 FPS usually looks OK.
60 FPS will handle many things if you do it right.

What are you shooting the video with ?

My samsung 10.1 tablet which have Photoshop and a video editing app
So i can work with photos and videos everywhere
Not much of camera, but enough to document and play with apply fx on photos
I think 30fps rate

I have many short videos of my demo code, one of them too dark
And I also want to make a bigger video of the best ones to publish what's possible with MASM and SSE
I found out I already had bought earlier same battery for different purposes, so i changed battery in my old xp box and started it up, good for run eldest games and demos
