Myself, I have never been far enough away from 'light pollution' from major cities to see the stars, etc., in any great detail. Those places still exist somewhere. Nice pic.

NO, it is Most Definitely REAL :biggrin: Just happens to have been the right time of the year to have 'captured' the Milky-Way, in that specific position.

To be fair, if you search for the image you can find it here (https://www.instagram.com/max.nti/), where there are other images that seem to use the same Milky Way, like a cut and paste :biggrin:
To be politically correct🤮, its official name is Uluru/Ayers Rock
If that image isn't "AI"-generated (taking Stoo's word for that), then it's obviously not just a point-and-shoot image: probably an overlay of several exposures taken over a time series, then stitched together.
Still impressive. Very few places here (USA) where you can still see galaxies and such in the night sky.
As I suggested and as 'sinsi' also showed, it is NOT AI !!
You can travel there and simply 'Look Up' at the right time of year and See that,... although perhaps Not As intensely.
Also, it is perhaps Obviously Not a 'Point & Shoot' image, as the Exposure time (being at night), would be so long, you would get 'Star Trails',.. so,.. for those unaware of the methodology, it IS made up of multiple exposed images and utilizing an obviously Very Sturdy Tripod, along with some model of Star-Tracking 'Head', all of which is pretty normal, for Any Astro-photography, made with I believe a Canon EOS R5.
