Hi Erol,
very interesting tool. Thank you for that link. :t
Gunther
Well ....This gave me a place to upload a CAD example in MASM that I had
lol
By the way I did work with Auto Cad professionally back in 2006
Damn if I remember it ( other than basic stuff )
We use to do 3D stuff with it too ... Forgot all that lol
Also worked with solid works , catia ...
I look at some of the the stuff that I created and I am baffled by it ....
Isn't that funny
Not to mention the hand drafting that I did in the 90's , I regret selling my drafting table
Should have just kept it somewhere with all those stencils I had
Hi hfheatherfox07,
In my workplace, the engineers are using SolidWorks. It's an extremely powerful application. The 2013 version is released.
I am sure if I strafed to look through it again I might relearn some of it...
Is it like what AutoCad did when they brought 2008 I think or 2010 .... Was too damn big , make computer sooo slow !
I do love their 3D scanner ! Scan parts into solidworks
P.S
ever herd of paper/picture to dxf ?

Yes, extremely powerful, and well supported, and expensive.
You know what is great about Solid works ( and this goes back 7 years last I used it)
Is the modules !!!
So many like : sheet metal , molds, Tool & Die ,Electrical ...

If I remember correctly those modules are free cause they assume that you purchased solidworks !
Not a CAD application but interesting for interior design :

It's really sad, that at times I wonder at who that programmer(me) was and where did he go.
I had this one piece of code that was 5 years old, needed an update(wasn't broke). It took me about three and half days just to relearn the code section to modify it.
Gives new meaning to hardening of the coding arteries to 'pump out' code.
