I have used HTTrack for some time and it really does come in handy when you want to read a site without going online.
How could this work with web sites where the user has to interact with the server? Could this browser, for example, be used to read, and interact, with this forum?
Hi Michael,
This tool is used to download a site. You cannot use this tool to interact with our forum.
Yeh you download the site in its state at the moment of the download, then it is compressed on your drive, and you can read what was the whole site when you sucked all its contents onto your hard drive. I did that with a site that had really good electronics tuts. Also a good learning page for basic electricity and electronics.
Thanks Vortex for the link.
Thanks a lot Vortex for the very handy utility.
I was able to get all the zipped code from the old forum and aren't normally accessible.
