Hi Zen,

There are some projects on the net providing source code for remote process execution.

Hi Gunther,

For the moment, the latest version dates 2012. I tested the tool on a domain environment and it works fine.

You may also have a look at TeamViewer http://www.teamviewer.com/en/index.aspx (http://www.teamviewer.com/en/index.aspx).

My son installed this on my main computer in the basement and on my laptop. As long as both computers are on (and both the modem and router are on), I can have access to both from either one, and perform any task on whichever is the "remote" one as if I was working directly on it. (Works very well, though not the best if you try playing on-line games with the "remote" one. ::))

i think any remote execution is going to have trouble with graphics
it can be a lot of data to move   :P

Are you referring to playing a "resource hogging game" that's on another computer ?

Which elicits curse words from some users when the networks goes down in the middle of a game.

Hi raymond,

I recommend you to try TightVNC.

QuoteTightVNC is a free remote control software package. With TightVNC, you can see the desktop of a remote machine and control it with your local mouse and keyboard, just like you would do it sitting in the front of that computer. TightVNC is:

free for both personal and commercial usage, with full source code available,
useful in administration, tech support, education, and for many other purposes,
cross-platform, available for Windows and Unix, with Java client included,
compatible with standard VNC software, conforming to RFB protocol specifications.

With TightVNC, you can:

cut your expenses and save your time on traveling,
help your friends and family to solve problems with their computers remotely,
make sure nothing wrong is happening on your computers when you are away.

Okay sure, it was a test and did not spread, I can see the danger if I spread it. At first it was using mIRC as a base data to command it, but then I used a website as the source of the data it collected, it doesnot spread, but my friends who know Im making it begging me to have it and playing it without my permissions, on mIRC Farabi name is known as a virus for long times, I gues almost half months my name known as virus, but I dont know now. Like I said it doesnot spread, and deinstall it is simple, just open task manager and then remove it, dead simple, then delete it. Nothing hard. It is unencrypted and contain lots of my name. Even the Window name is "Farabi X.1.0". Okay then, I guess Will keep it for me. Anyway, now AVG detect it as a virus, so it wont worked anymore. I just wonder maybe somebody want to see the trojan test.
