Title: Save whole webpage for https site
Post by: Magnum on November 28, 2013, 09:44:02 AM
Is there a way to save all of a webpage for a https site like a bank for example ?

I think they wrote in some code to stop you from saving text boxes.

I would rather not have to do a print screen with it's large size.

file menu - save as - complete webpage
depending on the browser, it might be on the context menu if you right-click on the page

This is part of the page that is not saved, but should be. (Using Save Page As, Ctrl N,)

I am waiting on a response to 3 messages which mysteriously are not showing up in the sent column ???

Best regards,

This is what is actually saved. :-)

On previous occasion bank said they had no received emails from me.
Screenshots said otherwise.

Take care,

I wonder if html code has no ability to stop print screens ? :-)

it's not saved because it's not webpage content
it's information that a script retrieves from the server
there are numerous types of scripts, but probably some java script that gets the info

Sorry for the tread necromancy. Better late than never I guess:

To download a web page I use HTTrack.
http://www.httrack.com/

I used to use it a lot, when web connections where slow.

thanks for the link.

Did you mean to use necromancy ?

    n.noun

The practice of supposedly communicating with the spirits of the dead in order to predict the future.
