Title: Nook issues
Post by: Magnum on November 08, 2014, 05:13:57 PM
I had some problems with my Nook, so I sent emails to Barnes and Noble, but got no response.

These are some of the problems I have had.

1. Keyboard does not respond. I oftentimes can not exit an application. I have to shut it down.

2. I bought a NIV study bible, but 2 weeks later, it was no longer in my library.
   (  $ 34 is no small sum. :-) )

3. I sent Barnes and Noble an email about it, but they did not respond.

4. I bought a 32 Gb memory card, but was not able to save anything to it.

Thanks for your time and consideration,

Andy

Hi,

My Mother got a Nook, and had problems using it.  The Barnes
and Noble store has seminars (or classes) to teach you how to
use a Nook on Saturdays every so often..  When she had problems,
the lecturer looked at it and she sent me to a technician in the back.
Who looked at it, cleaned it, and poked at it for a short while.
And she replaced it on the spot when she determined that it was
a goner.  Of course it was fairly new at that that time and still
under warranty.

I was impressed at how well that worked out.

Regards,

Steve N.

 Thanks Steve.

My daughter has one and she exchanged it for a new one.

I will do the same.

I bought it new online and it's is less than 6 months old.
