Title: Addressing in protected mode ?
Post by: redradist on February 10, 2015, 10:01:58 PM
For a long time I could not understand how to read the table GDT in protected mode processor with a segment-page conversion? For memory addresses should be considered as diskriptor local table from memory, so that's reading too passes through page conversion? Or is it bypasses page conversion, by direct memory access?
