Title: Imgburn has become a royal pain
Post by: shankle on February 15, 2017, 02:38:54 PM
What other DVD burners do you suggest except this
malware infested program?

Running windows 7 pro 64-bit.
I put in an empty DVD and the Imgburn told me the dvd
was not empty and hung.
I don't need all the fancy stuff as I just want to be able to
burn a DVD.
Thanks for any help.

I don't have any problem with ImgBurn Jack, from memory it is bundled with a pile of crap but you avoid it by being careful and if any crap gets through, immediately uninstall it.

Hi shankle,

ImgBurn can be extracted from the installer with  X-Universal Extractor :

Thanks guys for helping.
This might help someone else....
I play Bridge online and the software requires I use Chrome.
I have Internet Explorer 11 running in Windows 7 pro 64-bit.
They don't get along together. I found a way to drop back to
Internet Explorer 8 and that seemed to help.
I would like to go back to Internet Explorer 7 (if there is one)
I understand it is not possible to completely uninstall Internet Explorer.

Now I am able (sort of) to run Imgburn. It runs the Delete function
and will burn to a CD. Then to get it to Verify I have to hit the DVD open
tray button to get it to continue the Verify.
