Title: double entries in internet explorer
Post by: shankle on February 24, 2020, 07:25:58 AM
               2-23-2020

STATs; Windows 10 PRO 64 Bit, Macrium Reflect,
1T Slim disk with 3.0 usb.

I desperately needed a backup for the windows 10
OS. I created 2 partitions on the Slim disk, 1 for
my wife's computer and one for my computer.
I was able to back up both computers this way
using Macrium Reflect in separate partitions
        on the external Slim disk.
AH BUT THERE IS ALWAYS A CATCH. My computer
and my wife's computer are showing up twice in
        Internet Explorer!!!!!!!!
        Now what ??
        Thanks for any suggestions.

I find it hard to believe with all the talent on this site that no
one has had any problems with Internet Explorer issuing
duplicate entries of a drive.

Windows 10 Pro 64 bit,
Backup Plus Slim (an external
drive for backups)

Jack,

Just delete one of the icons. The other choice is to change the browser, you are a brave man using Microsoft Internet Exploder.

That's why I am having all this trouble. Windows 10 Pro 64 bit
has succeeded in dictating that I use Internet Explorer.

Jack,

I use Win10 Pro as well and I have not had any problems using Chrome or the Slimjet clone of Chrome.
