Welcome to the Forum, Owsley

What's your background (in a few words), what's your motivation to study assembly?

Thanks! I am a university student, studying assembly as part of my CompSci program. We're studying MASM, using Kip Irvine, mostly 32 bit, with some 64 bit thrown in at times. I'm enjoying the chance to learn more about the "inner workings" of programming, though I do get frustrated at times (learning any new language has its moments).

This forum maintains a dedicated Irvine sub-forum. (http://masm32.com/board/index.php?board=56.0) Don't expect too much, most of us do not take the book seriously. But if you have concrete questions on how instructions work, somebody will certainly help, often within minutes. Again, welcome, and don't hesitate to ask
