Hi all!
Apparently some materials can jump over restriccions, and after some months an armed PC become available:
- BOX GFAST CM-5832 KIT
- SSD Lexar 240GB SATA III 2,5″
- MB GIGABYTE H510M H (REV 1.0)
- CPU INTEL CORE i3-10100
- MEM RAM OEM 8GB DDR4
If next week that work, I have to see what other thing can be added.
Any way, sound enough to play a lot
Hi Hector,
Thats a nice looking micro ATX board with a lot of useful features. The HDMI graphics should be fast enough unless you want to install a graphics card. My only comment is 8 gig of memory would make Win10/11 marginal but if you are going to run a Linux version, it should be fine.
Hi HSE
Congratulations
Don't forget to look for TPM 2, but I'm sure new PCs have it built in.
As Hutch said, the more RAM, the better Windows runs.
I added a second HDD (mechanical in my case) to store my own data, leaving the SSD for the OS and other programs that wanted to be installed in some standard locations. I have redirected the pictures, music etc. folder on this last drive so that the SSD always has enough space for the operating system.
